Resident Businesses
At Westacre we are farmers for the most part, but can’t survive on food alone. It is vital that we live within a dynamic community, this is why we have, over the past decades, converted old agri-buildings that are no longer suitable for modern machinery into workshops and studios that can house artists, makers, tradesmen and other small businesses.
As time has moved on, these businesses grow and change. We strive to support these elements of our community by expanding where feasible and encouraging rural enterprise to be just as dynamic as that found in the city.
Abbey Farm is one such hub where, over the past 10 years, we have encouraged full and varied use of the old farmyard buildings and hope for further expansion in the future to create a varied and dynamic environment that allows a small village in rural Norfolk to flourish.
